656 head gasket

i have a 656 gas that i just replaced the head gasket on. when i pulled the head off it look like it had been burning antifreeze. also all around the head it seeped. so i put a new head gasket on and it really seeps now with bubbles. also i did cheak the head for warp and it was in tolerance. now i am stumped what else could be going on here? thanks

Have the head surface done and try some copper seal with a new gasket.
Make sure the torque specs that you are using for the bolts are correct and retorque them after the engine is hot.
Tighten bolts starting with the center bolts and work outwards in a circular motion.

how many thou. clearance did you have?did you use an actual straight edge? did you put it together dry? "it really seeps now with bubbles"... is that on the out side or in the rad? "what else may be going on here"... well it may be cracked if its bubbling in the rad. pretty vague description. what did you torque it to? did you retorque it? was both surfaces cleaned spotless?we have no idea what you did , only can presume.

i torque the head to 95 ft lb. it was seeping around the head between the head and gasket. no bubbles in the rad. i had a I.T. book to go by for the spec. and order
