Throttle Cable - IH 1586

The throttle will not move. I"m assuming the problem is in the cable. How difficult is it to replace this cable?

Not all that tough.

Just watch how it is routed when you remove it.

Replaced one in the field in about 30 minutes on a 1086 which is pretty much the same set up.

Seems to me there is a cotter pin, a pin, a clip, and you spin the pump end out and the new one back in. Did one on our 786, had it running before my uncle came out to help.
