Farmall A and B oil plugs

I was daydreaming while treating pigs this moring about the trans on the A and B. I read an article in "red power" (i think) about the different locations to check for oil. I think they said there was 5 places to check oil level. I can only think of four; the trans, each rear wheel gear, and the steering box. Did he count the engine oil as the fifth or is there another place to check in the rear? I am pretty sure the axles are dry between the differential and the bull gear (rear wheel gear, dunno if bull gear is the right terminology), right?

Well there is the finall drives one on each side and the transmission, the touch control hydrolics, the engine oil, and the steering box. I think that should cover it.

Final drives!! That is the term that I could not remember, "rear wheel gear" should be replaced with "final drives" in my original post.

Well the Farmall B never had hyds so they do not have that and the A also does not have hyds but the Super A does so on the A/B no hyds to check unless some one added the hyds to them

Later A's did have hydraulics available. Some late B's had the provision in the block for installing the pump.

Well if my info is correct the A never did as did the B but the super A which in fact is the later A has them. I have had Bs form the first to the last year and never have they had hyds on them other then add ons
