IH Titan 10-20

What type of engine does a IH 10-20 Titan have in it? They have a very large tank up on top and I"m wondering if it"s a boiler or a very large fuel tank. I have only seen pictures of a Titan and can"t tell what it is. A friend of mine has one in the woods up north and I'm not sure if I want to take on the project. Thanks, Basil

Unless I'm very much mistaken the tank over the front axle is a coolant tank and is what gets rid of the heat from the engine. Sounds like it has the potential to be a different project. Sam

I believe that is the coolant tank also. This tractor has a gas engine in it. Keep me in mind if you do not want to pursue this tractor. I have been trying to locate one for my collection.

Yup, top horizontal tank is the coolant tank. At the back of the coolant tank just below it is a separate vertical round kerosene tank tucked down in the frame.
Definitely a tractor that should be saved by all means.
