If the pushrods are bent, straighten them out. They'll be as good as new.

If you have missing pushrods, or actually broken, then you will need enough to replace those.
Put an ad to the left in the want ad column. Steiners tractor, OEM, Steel Wheel Ranch and many other salvage yards (possibly closer to you) will have them. Unless they have been run without oil, or bent such that they snap, they do not usually become unusable. Jim

Neither Steiner or OEM will have push rods. Steel Wheel Ranch will have used ones as will a salvage yard that has older engines. Another source is these guys selling valve train kits and engine kits. They can typically get them from the supplier. Ebay has them on auctions all the time too. Typically go for $30 a set.

If they are bent, there is probably a reason they are. Tight guides etc. Straightening them will only work if you find what is causing them to bend. Seems once they begin bending, they will continue until you get the head reworked.

I bought used replacements mail order from Hoober IHC in PA. Seem to recall about $12 each. Check Hoober.com

I have found that if a push rod is bent, it is because a valve became stuck in the guide, which let the clearance gap become way too much and the pushrod lost all contact with the rocker arm and fell over to one side, and then when it made contact again, it wasn't in proper alignment, so it got bent.
