iffin a feller was to come up with one of those tank type heaters (Kat brand comes to mind) where would you 560D owners hook it up at? i have my idea where to install it just wondering where everyone else would

Thanks

Unless you are in a LOT colder area than it appears by your "handle" and need 1500 Watts, make it EASY and simply install a 600 Watt "freeze plug heater" in the third block plug hole from the front on the right side. Phillips&Temro # is 3100061

its just that i' ve had good luck with the tank type and thats all i know ill take a look at that one you told me about. I have one of the Kats on a 80 model ford truck I used to run fire calls with it it could be zero degrees and soon as you hit the key the window would start defrosting

thanks friend

If you need to use the tank heater, typical connection would be between the block drain port and a port in the cylinder head or thermostat housing below the thermostat.
