How big of disk do you guys pull with your IH 460?

I was wondering how big of a disk i can pull with a gas 460? It would be on corn/plowed ground, a few slight hills, and i could add weight or duals if needed. Thanks in advance!

Dad pulled an 11 1/2' disk with his... no problems with that. Might not do it in heavy clay soil though.
 
No matter what size - you ll pull it in Second Gear - 3rd is too fast for the HP and engine dies fast - you ll wear out the TA trying to use 3rd gear.

I used to haull a # 37 12' with a WD-45 and a 460 i hope is more tractor than the 45? Still trying to get the [Bucket of Bolt's] running! Bud.
 
If you work only 2"s it will pull 14-16' with ease down hill in 4th. Have fun Isn"t that what we are trying to do!!!! Good luck Warren
