On my 1936 f-20 the clutch pettle moves but it will not release and take the tractor out of gear. i have tryed pulling the tractor in 4th gear to try and get it lose but it wont let lose. i have put about a 21oz of WD-40. i wonder how can get it lose so that when i push in the clutch the engine will run without pulling the defrential.

Very common problem on these old girls. I always block the clutch pedal down with a chunk of wood during storage and plug the timing hole with steel wool to keep the mice out. Mouse crud can really stick em. You can take the clutch out in about 15 minutes and you will find the disc rust bonded to the flywheel. Take a twisted wire wheel on a 4.5 inch grinder and buff the flywheel and pressure plate clean. Then clean and lube the finger pivots, clean all your wd40 off the friction surfaces and slap her back together.

I had a F30 so bad I used a tourch and melted the clutch cover off so I could get to the pressure plate bolts that was rusted bad,I used a size smaller socket and removed the bolts
