I bought new spark plug wires for my H and they are really long and it looks clutered. I was wondering if I could shorten some of them to make it not look so clustered or if that would mess up the timing of the spark by having diffrent lenght plug wires. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Feel FREE to shorten them. It makes no difference at all. They usually come longer than they should be so that you are able to "cut them to a perfect fit".

In EXTREME high performance situations, the plug wires are usually of equal length (such as top fuel dragsters), but in all other applications the plug wires are only long enough to reach from the cap to the plug. Go ahead and cut 'em, and make it all nice and neat lookin'.

I cut H plug wires to fit.

If you cut them to fit NO its NOT gonna mess up the timing. At the rate electricity flows and the frequency were talkin, its not gonna make much difference if a wire is a few inches longer or shorter (and thats an understatement). Its not so important here as in higher voltage applications (potential crosstalk), but I still like how it looks if the wires are seperated and neat and orderly.
