Farmall-what model is it?

My brother bought a Farmall at a school auction. I can not find a data tag on it anywhere, it is red in color, not yellow & white. The rear tire size is 12.4-24, front tire size is 6.40-15. The front grill work has been replaced and no ID Tag was left on it. Can you help me figure out what model it is?

Yes the seat is off set from the motor. but I have seen an A and from what I remember of it , this is a bit bigger. From the pictures I have been able to find, it should have the model number on the lower front grill panals but these have benn replaced. I think it is one of the 100 series like a 140 or 180 something along that size. any more ideas?

A 100 is all red. A 130 will have the white grill, but neither of those tractors is bigger than an A because they are just the newer version.

No, it has the off set seat like cub but is much larger. From what pictures I can find i believe it is in the 100 serieas. 140/ 180. White grill hydraulic lift. came with 6 FT. woods mower and front plow. does this help any?

i went to tractorhouse and look at some 100 & 130. i also looked at the 140 and the front end is more like the 140 than the 130. more square not so round, what do you think?

Rusty,
My 130 has a red grille. It also says International which makes it a industrial. Was a former US Navy tractor.Has the orginal Navy data plate still on it.

If it's a 140, the serial tag would be on the left side of the engine aft of the air cleaner below the voltage regulator (if there still is one). It may be there but painted over.

My guess is that your tractor was not red while the Navy owned it.

Thanks to everyone. I do believe It's a 140. It's in great shape. A little paint and will be like new. Thanks for all your help again, Wayne
