Integral LA and pumpjack

The stationary engine section does not get much traffic so I will ask here. I found this LA and integral pump, I have never seen one before, restored, shedded and asking $650.00. Is that ball park for this unit?

in my opinion: with the pump jack, if it is overhauled and runs, It's worth it if you are willing to pay that. My brother restored one without any attachments for school and his research seemed to indicate they are worth less than zero to the price of the overhaul parts, unless they have an attachment--then the price goes up the rarer the attachment.
If you won't regret paying that price and you won't starve or lose the house, by all means buy it. If you think it is high, then don't buy it. No matter what you pay for it, if you decide to sell it, you may never make a profit or break even. They are very a very fickle model in the price market for some reason.

Please educate me! I'm not sure what an LA is. I have a Case LA, but is this a power unit based on a Farmall "A"? Just curious.

My guess is 250.00-300.00 for the la and whatever the pump is worth to you. They aren't a high priced engine so don't expect to make money on it. If you can buy it to show and have fun with then go for it.

O.K. I see what you're talking about-- guess I don't know the models of stationary engines. My dad has a 6HP IH engine, but I couldn't tell you the model. All I know is that it is about 3-31/2 ft tall with large flywheels and a drum for the belt.
