Farmall B tranny

Hi All,
I have seen some pics of several farmall B's running 13.6 and 14.9 x 28" tires tractor pulling. My question is could one take a transmission out of a C and put the axle housings from the B on it to retain the B look? If not, I wonder how they slowed the gearing down enough to run the taller tires without motoring out.
Thanks,
Charles

Hey Chuck!
They are running the stock gears! Well a few of them are anyway. Just a lot of stroke! 200 plus cubes!
The trans gears in a A,B and C are the same tooth count 1st thru 4th but the finals are different.
