It is a Continental IY-69. It is 69ci, was used on several combines and balers.

Useing Guy Fays book .

Y 69588 35

Y= Corn binders and Corn shellers

69588= part #

35=suffix

This is all that i found in the book .

Looks just like the little Conti in my '47 Clark Trukloader fork lift- little runt, but it sounds just like the full-size fours in Fergusons, etc.

its from a model 62 IH combind. its a iy 69 continental.very good motor in its day. Bob

Yes, it is Continental Y-69, it is crank start only. No water pump, thermo-syphon circulation.
My brother had one on a IHC 52-R combine.
