How to determine year of Model Super A Industrial

I recently bought a nice Farmall Super A Industrial and the previous owner was not sure of the year. I have the serial number. Does that help in determining the year built? If not, how do I go about finding out? Thanks.

Look over on the left side of the screen here on YTmag for serial numbers. That should help. Another way to determine years are to look at the casting date codes. You will be lookimg for letters in a string of month and day numbers. So like 6/15/Z would be June 15 1954. The letter is the year. Where Z is 1954, Y would be 1953, and so on.
