Hello Dr Bert: Thank you.. So that's what it looks like. Nice job of Changing the ratio between steering wheel to amount front tires moves. (I didn't save original post) I always felt the standard 3 rib front tire turned easier then a vehicle tire since there is less ground contact area, if you have 6 ply 3-rib tire and higher air pressure. (I am talking about when the tractor is moving at least a little.) If those are 4 ply tires, you still could get by with somewhat higher air pressure?

Brother inlaw put on an oversized steering wheel on his loader tractor years ago and it helped. If I am using a non power steering loader tractor, I will often drop down into the lowest gear for making sharp turns just to keep front tires moving a little while turning. ag.
Thanks for posting a picture of what you did. Looks good.

ag: Tires are either 8 or 10 ply and inflated to 60 pounds--I think. Last week I picked up a nearly complete Farmall B less rear rims and tires to haul to my shop. Drove out to pick it up steering with one hand. Coming back loaded I could easily steer with two hands with only moderate effort.
