CaseIH595XL hydraulics. 3 pt linkage, will not drop under load. But will do so without load.

check your draft control lever"s position.
if it is set at light, you can get the symptoms you list.

Sounds like a draft lever out of place(?) push both levers all the way ahead (don't push position control into slow drop slot) and see if that works...

Hi have tried all draft positions with no sucess.Have since found last owner had trouble with linkage not droping at all (loaded or unloaded),He would clean out Unloading valve from the bank under the seat, linkage would then work for another two hundred hours and then need recleaning. We have tried this, and even swapped the whole bank with one from our 695 but it made no difference. problem could be internal in the action valve, any ideas on how to deal with this.

684 service manual says following: "Main control valve spool sticking or spring faulty. Drop poppet O-ring is damaged or drop poppet is sticking."
I think that the main control valve spool is end of the raise lever and the drop poppet is inside the lift housing, removing it is a major work.
