Knee surgery.

So I went in for knee surgery yesterday and made sure that before I went in for it (and am "laid up")that I degreased my B and its all ready for its restoration beggining in january. Talk about prioritizing! I couldnt imagine sitting here laid up and having to think about the things that I should have gotten done! Just how I am I guess!

Rest up and heal. I had rot cuff surgery a few years ago, and not being able to do normal things for a bit drove me crazy. All better now. Good luck.

I had right shoulder rebuilt twice and right knee once. You will get so bored waiting to get better, but do not rush it and do more damage. I also had back problems in 1978 and did not listen to the doctor. I re-injured it and was laid up for 19 weeks before going again. And by all means, follow the rehab routine.

Did they send you home with one of those electric knee machines?
There's some good advice on here whether body parts or Farmall parts.
I had my backbone bored and stroked in 1985, I remember going out and buying a good vacume guage before going in. Still got the guage, same back, too. Take as much care of the knee as you would any other part on the B.

I had knee surgery last leek. I felt great wed. and thursday. I drove and played with my bn and my a. Then friday night hit me when the patch of drugs they put in my knee wore off. I was in pain and hard to walk. I am like you. I cannot sit still, I am off work till the first week of Dec. I am bored and in trouble because all I can do is buy IHC wrenches on ebay. Wife does not like it. Take it from me try to relax and move around as much as your knee will let you. Email me if you have any thing you would like to talk about. By the way I am going to have my shoulder worked on in a week or so so I will be only looking at the tractors and wish I have done more before now.

Three years ago had both knees replaced 6 weeks apart. Laying there you think about all the stuff you would love to be doing. DONT RUSH IT!!! it will be there when yuo get well. Also when taking all the GREAT pain drugs you can get hurt alot quicker. Hope you are doing well now. Kenny
