HI all

I'm getting closer to finaly starting my M after an overhaul. does anyone have hot and cold valve clearances handy?

Thanks!

(quoted from post at 19:16:55 11/13/10) .017 hot, and .020 cold. i think rusty farmall gave me the cold setting. worked real good.

Yes, that 0.020" figure is what I came up with simply by guessing. I just couldn't get my ol' M warmed up enough, and when I set the valves at 0.017", the engine would not run good when it DID get warmed up, so I set the valves at 0.020" while the engine was cold, and it worked out pretty good. I've had other folks tell me that 0.022" COLD works out well also.
