Would the U of Wisc IHC Historical Papers possably show what country received the large order of F706's and F806's on steel wheels in either 1963, 64, or 65? These steel wheeled tractors have always stirred my curiosity as they are the only 06 series tractors that I ever saw on steel wheels.

Are they factory steel wheels or homemade steel wheels on the Amish tractors? The Case IH online parts catalog still list the 54" x 12" steel wheels 374385R91, wheel extensions, and other components for the F706 and F806, but I am sure they are no longer available from Case IH. There might be some hiding somewhere in somebody's obsolute parts inventory.

they are made locally but look factory, a very nice job. come to norhern richland county in ohio. there are many mennonites there. you might even get to see a front wheel assit magnum with steel wheels.
