Thank you to all that have served. I just finished up our dress rehearsal for our annual Veterans' Day Program at school. I was unable to serve, but try to teach and pass on the importance of our Veterans, and what they have done for us.

Have a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

David

Thank you very much David for thinking about and honoring all past and present veterans that have served are country. My 92 year old father in law was a WWII vet and just returned from a visit along with a group of other WWII vets from a visit to the World War II memorial in Washington, DC. The notes and letters of thanks the WWII veterans received from school age children thanking them all for their service during the visit were very moving and sincerely appreciated by all. Thanks again for taking the time to appreciate and honor the service of all veterans that have proudly served our great country.

A group from Kansas went on the "Honor Flight" within the last couple of weeks... that is a nice program.
I just looked up 109 year old Mr. Buckles... here is what Wikipedia says...

Last American veteran. Eligible for burial at Arlington. Joined in 1917. Ambulance driver near Western Front. Held prisoner in World War II as a civilian. Lives in Charles Town, West Virginia.

I wore my shirt at school where I teach that says
All Gave Some

Some Gave All

Has a pic of 4 soldiers carrying a guy on a stretcher in the Pacific War. Thanks to all vets for our freedom. Freedom isn't free. Steve
