I have a 300 that the rear hydraulics only work one way. If I raise the fasthitch iI have to switch the hoses to make it go down any ideas

The hydraulic valves are convertible between one-way and two-way.

You will have to remove the hood above the steering column to get at them.

On the ends of the valves are shafts with two flat sides. You turn them 90 degrees in one direction for one-way, and 90 degrees in the other direction for two-way.

Use an adjustable wrench to turn the shaft on the valve connected to the fast hitch 90 degrees. It will only turn one direction so don't force it. That will fix your problem.

My guess would be that the block is set to single acting. If you have a dual acting check valve, (on the right side of the battery box) it will not open unless pressure is supplied. Having the block set to single will not supply pressure to the "down" side.
