When rebuilding the Zenith carb do most of you put new seals in around the throttle plate. I rebuilt mine by just doing gaskets, needle and float and did no good. Did cylinder head rebuild as I had a burned out exhaust valve on number 2 cylinder. Tractor was running lean so did more in depth rebuilt on carb and put new seals and bushing in throttle plate shaft now runs great. Could running too lean casue exhaust valve to burn out?
