IH 300 utility fluid

Just got a 1955 300 utility tractor. Have not gotton a manual yet. The trans. is empty. It does take Trans/Hydro fluid RIGHT ??? The Boss is made I got it for $500. Runs GREAT!!! She will get over it. SLEEPING IN THE BARN

The reservoir is under the seat for hydraulics, the trans is separate, and takes quantities. Jim

Aww heck mad about one little 300 . I had 2 dozers and a tractor show up in one day . Didn't have to sleep in the barn . Couch was just fine . ahh did have to make my own supper though .

If your 300 has the TA make sure you use hytran or equivalent. Like Janicholson said. The hydraulics have a seperate resevoir.
