Rebuilding the fan assembly on a Super A

Has anyone rebuilt the fan assembly on a super A? It looks quite simple. Is this advisable or is it really so much eacier to buy the aftermarket replacement?

You can buy a new on cheaper than the parts to redo yours. The new ones will have bearings and dont need any lube.

Hello, the fan on my super-a has lasted over 50 yrs. bet a aftermarket one will not see half that many. would like to know to if the orignal fan could be rebuilt ?

Maarks Tractors does have a rebuild kit rather expensive. New replacements are around 75.

Nothing wrong with the aftermarket fans, I have 3 -- easy to install, require no maintenance. When the sealed bearings give out, just replace the whole thing. Cheap as far as current prices go.
