Dif. and Transmission oil

I flushed out the transmissiion on my Farmall M and I was wondering if I could use case International HyTran oil In the transmission and differential.

I would not. 80-90 or 85-140 is what I've seen recommended. Since your hydraulics are separate it doesn't need to be hydraulic friendly and the thicker oil will help slow your gears down when you step on the clutch so you can shift without grinding(I have been told).

If your seals are good you sure can. One thing Hy-Tran really helps is better lubrication to the front trans bearing and the pilot bearing on the main shaft.
