I bought a old IH wagon and I was wondering what number it is. I beleive it had steel wheels on it but someone cut them down and welded rims on them. I hope someone can tell me what number wagon it is. THANKS

S, I have an old one like that Not IH. But round spoke I think it was cut like your and got new rims and rubber at some time in it life.
Mine says peru on the wheel caps and on the back frame it has a serial tag that
says Sears Roebuck Not sure how old it is but it did get an IH paint job and new board last year. oldiron29

I think that wagon would have been avaible with either the steel spoke steel wheel or demountable wheels for rubber and for rubber would have been 8 lug wheels. Could have been made up thru the 50's.

S2710; those are factory round spoke wheels ya got there. I suggest you post your photos and ? in the "Implement Alley" discussion board and you may get more/better replies. HOLD ON, I just peeked in the "Implement Photos" doing a search for "IH wagon" and this may be just what you have...maybe.

Al thanks for the reply but if you look at the second picture and bring it in closer you will see that it looks like a piece has been welded on the arm on the spindle and the original one was cut of to clear the rim. I will take a better picture tomorrow afternoon and post it.

S2710 I have #2 of the IH running gears with spoke wheels that had rims welded to them but I don't know the number of them or how they were painted I am going to watch your question to see if someone knows the correct paint, I also had a Peru wagon but sold it dumb me.

Kevin I reposted it over on Imp. Ally and I took some different pictures and I think I can see some blue paint on a couple of pcs.
