Does anybody have any information about Erickson Forklifts? We have one at work that hasn't run in about 20 years. It's built with a International Industrial engine, looks to be the same 113 ci engine that the Super A used. I'll post some pictures when I get home.

Here's some pictures.

Don't think I have ever seen an articulated forklift before. Probably could manage ZTR turns. Kewl.

That mast is very heavy. Appears to be set up for 8000 to 10,000 lbs. But I would want radio control before using it at that capacity.

one good key to Capacity is always Operating Weight. Run that puppy across a truck scale, and post the weight.

Wheelbase is also critical to capacity, but in this case, it is what it is.

The fact that this unit appears to be a tricycle or double-steer wheel tricycle doesn"t affect the stability of it as a forklift, compared to modern forklifts with a spread steer axle.

The NUT BEHIND THE WHEEL, or in this case, the "BUM added to the couterweight" that has the most impact on capacity, especially considering the steer axle type !!!
