Hillside hitch installation

I have a hillside hitch that I would like to install on my Super M. I have seen a few in photos and one on a 450D, but cannot remeber how it actually fits onto the u-shaped drawbar.
Does anyone have any knowlege and / or photos of how this is supposed to be placed? Thanks. I will add a photo.

The part you have bolts to the outside of the drawbar, and a rod [that you don't have] goes to the swinging drawbar. The handle moves the swinging drawbar up to ajust for the hillside.

Your lever is not for an M or SM. It looks very similar but not identical to the lever for an F-12.

The one on the left is for an M, the one on the right is for an F-12.

You could cut it up and make it fit, or sell it to someone who can use it. I made one using the land lever off an #8 plow. Mine is much more precise than the factory hill-side hitch. The factory hitch is too course.

IHCPloughman,
No wonder we couldn"t make heads or tails out of it. I appreciate you pulling out your manuals and doing the research.

Bill,
Thanks. I do have the extra part that attaches to the drawbar. Unfortunately, it is for the wrong tractor (F-12 instead of SM). I thought it was shorter than the one I had seen before installed on a 450D. Darn.
