Farmall B cultivator rear sweeps

I am trying to mount the rear sweeps with lift mechanism on Farmall B. I haven't a clue how to mount the center sweep to the tractor. I figured out the left and right mount to the axle housing. The lift is also a puzzle to me. I have this single mounting bar about 1" diameter, but do not know how to mount to tractor. ANY help would be appreciated. I have looked through many photos, but have not found a shot of the rear mounting.
Thanks, Jerry

A more or less triangular bracket bolts to the inner end of each axle extension housing and sticks down. The center tool bar is attached to these brackets with a round bar. The round bar is the pivot point for raising/lowering the center section.

Rear sections are raised by a rockshaft that extends fender to fender and has an arm on each end and in the center. Control of the rockshaft depends on what type lift you have.

There are Farmall B cultivator manuals on Ebay, some ads show a pic of the tractor and cultvator.
I have come across it under the number 238, B-238 and B-236 is mentioned as well.

Hope it helps, Jerry

There should be two braces one on each end to hold the bar you describe the drivers side has a long and short one lest side will have one long one that matches the right side and then a flat bar goes to the top of the diff housing. There should be two shorter ones bolting to the top of the tranny behind the gear shifter. You need a manual to make sure you have all the parts. The model of the cult could be several as they made at least three models. Is it hand lift or exhaust as the levers are different and if its hand lift you need a lever that bolts to the drivers platform. I have some parts if you are short.

Thanks for the info, I have the exhaust lift levers.
I have the two braces on each end as you mentioned, just not sure where they mount. I think my center mount is different than your description. Will continue to investigate.
Thanks, Jerry

I have the triangular brackets, but the left and right sweep assemblies are mounted on each. I am apparently missing something that is used to attach the center tool bar.
I have the rockshaft you mentioned, with an arm on each end and center, for raising the rear sections, just not sure how it attaches.
Thanks for the info,
Jerry

The short one bolts to the seat support and the long one goes to the back bolt where the bracket for the rear toling is. There should also be a flat bar in the center it bolts to the lifting handle base. If you are short any braces let me know as i have lots of parts for those cults. The center brace is different on the exhaust lift So need left braces, right braces and a single for the center. The manuals are for sale from time to time but the dealer should be able to get one. If you have a pipe frame its a 236 if the shanks bolt to solid bar its a 238 you probably dont have the 435 veggie model. They are two types of bast mounts for the center rear assy. Early used two vlat bar types and later used a single triangle likea left and a right. Whatever you need for parts i have them.

Jim, I found the triangular brackets you mentioned. It has sprockets mounted on either side, but this seems to be the piece the center tool bar attaches.
This helps a lot.
Thanks, Jerry

The sprockets are used by planters or fertilizer units. The sprocket shaft should go through upper holes in those brackets. The cultivator should use lower holes.
