IH 350 utility parts availability

I am looking at getting an IH 350U with a front end loader. I was just curious as to what the availability of parts for this tractor would be. It has a TA and pto and 3pt link. Mostly I will be using it for bush hogging and dirt/rock moving and snow plowing. Anything particular I should look at when I go and look at it? Thanks Chris Snow
 
Loaders have had a tendency to tear up the steering on IH utility tractors. I bought a 300u that came with a loader. The steering wheel and the splined shaft it goes over were bad, the piviot bolt on the front end was worn odd shape and many people get these tractors and end up with a bad steering gear box which is quite hard to get parts for. If the tractor doesn't have power steering it is tough to steer with all the front end weigh. If you look at the tractor and all the steering stuff is good then a 350U is a good tractor. I don't know about availability of all parts but I have bought several things for my 300U and they are usually found under 350U, including seat parts which came from a Case dealer. I think most parts are available either from Case or as after market parts.
 
i have a 300U and between this site, Steiners, Messicks i have been able to get everything i have needed so far, even went to the local Napa to get all my tune up stuff which they had in stock..you can also look for stuff used on E-bay or even on the classifieds on this site or other tractor sites...
 
thanks for the quick response I got another question if I can post the pic. The tractor I am looking at a 350 utility has flat fenders and all the pictures I have seen have the rounded fenders.
