Super M hydrulic pump

I been told their were 2 manufacture on the hydrulic a cessena and apesco will the seal inter change.I guess I need to take it offand see if the shaft and worn and go from teir .

The Super M was before my time at Cessna, but I don't [u:b861276a0f]think[/u:b861276a0f] they built them. They may have built later dealer replacement pumps, but I doubt they did the originals.... but I could be wrong. 1952/4 was awfully early for Cessna gear pumps.

Totally different, one is an Oring the other a lip seal. Jim

Think SM were originaly equiped with a pesco pump. Later IH sold thompson pumps that could be used to replace the pesco. Best to see which seal you have. Some thompson pumps used one end seal the same as a pesco and some didn't. For pump illustration and seal numbers look at a farmall 450 parts book or on line parts.
