Oil pan Super A

There are a couple that are longer. It's been a while since I had an oil pan off but it seems like it is the back ones that are longer. I may be wrong on that. Hopefuly some one can correct me if I'm mistaken.

2 different lengths of bolts on them. All are 5/16 bolts but the 4 bolts that are on the outer ends are longer then the rest and I am 100% sure of this because I just put the pan back on my engine the other day

The four longer go, two on each end, on either side of the crankshaft. They're longer because they have to pass through the block that holds the shaft seals.

Short on goes in the center front and back then the long ones go on either side of them. Dont over tighten the center ones as they go into the soft center part of the seal assy of the crank and can get easily stridded by over tightening. That hole is a blond one also in the center and lots of them have been srtipped out or used a long bolt and screwed rite thru the hole.. Mite want to take a good look at those threads before installing the pan.
