I pressure washed my tractor. It wont crank now. I checked the distributor its dry. The plugs aren't getting a spark when I pull them out and do the spark test. Any suggestions

It sounds like you got water in the distributor or magneto. Try takin the cap off the whichever one you have. Of course try it again tom coulda dried out over night

Ha had a half thought in there. Take the cap off and the blow a little compressed air in there to dry it. If that is the problem It should fix it if it didn't short out anything.

Distributor or mag?? Makes a difference as to how to fix it. If it is a distributor take the cap off and open the points by hand. If you get a spark at the point then you problem has t be a bad rotor or cracked distributor cap. If it has a mag it could still be a cracked cap but that is harder to find unless you have balls and then all you do is hold on to the mag cap area when you try to start it. If you jump 10 feet you have a cracked cap

Distributor can be dry as a bone but if the cap has cracks which by the way you can not see it could be shorting out the spark and that is a common problem

Check for battery voltage at your coil. With the points open and the ignition swith in the on position you should have battery voltage on both small terminals on your coil. You need to use a volt meter or a test lite. If there's no voltage present on the coil you need to check your ignition switch to see if voltage is there. Could be a broken wire or loose connection. Run a separate wire from your battery to your coil then see if the engine will start. You know it will crank if the engine spins over when trying to start it. Hal

Coil spark is one of the biggest overlooked starting problems. Pull coil wire out of distributor. Place near ground and crank. Blue colored spark is great. Yellow colored spark is no good and replace the coil. Tom

"Not cranking" means the engine is not moving. If the engine isn't moving you will never get a spark.

We need clarification here, though I suspect that the engine is cranking just fine. It is not firing.

If the engine is cranking, but not firing, you probably blew a wire off somewhere with the pressure washer.

One other thought: Did you forget to turn on the ignition.
