Farmall A Oil Plug

Is the oil pan plug in an A special or can Napa set me up? What should I tell them I need when I go?

Already put the pan on the tractor and don't really want to take it off again.

Mike, that plug is pretty much a standard plumbing item -- a 3/4"NPT pipe plug. I've seen 'em all three ways -- square-head, recessed head, and hex. Any one of 'em will work, though that square-head is real handy to get a wrench onto.

If you're talking about the drain plug on the underside, I can't swear by that one. It might be 1/4", but I'm pretty sure it's 3/8" NPT

3/8 pipe then a 45 elbow and a short nipple with a cap. Now if you are never going to drain you can use a plug but how will you get it out if you want to drain the coolant.
