F 12 brakes

I have a F 12 with hand brakes and would like to change to foot operated. Seems this would be easy to do. Any ideas where I can get the parts? Thanks

Have never seen an F-12 with foot brakes....from the factory. Guessing it'll take some tinkering to get this accomplished.

Good luck !

My F14 had a foot pedal on it when I found it. It certainly appears to be either original equipment, or an IH-supplied upgrade. I don't have any larger pictures, but if you need details I can take some.

It consists of a pedal on the right, a shaft that goes across the top of the transmission, and links from each side of the shaft to the original brake levers. When you step on the pedal, it applies both brakes and the levers move to the rear. (Watch your knees...)

The foot brake attachment was a IHC option for the Farmall F-14. It applied both brakes at the same time and as said earlier, the hand-levers were still there for differential braking. They appear in the F-14 parts manual.

That's the hydraulic pump for the power lift. You can see the lever for the power lift just forward of the seat and inboard of the pump.

It's an "all or nothing" system, all the way up or all the way down, like the Powertrol on early John Deeres.

Thanks to all for the info. I'll see if I can find the parts at a salvage yard or try to make them myself. Thanks again, Craig45
