brakes 300

The brakes on my 300 are like stepping on a rock. The rights side works a little but I get nothing on the left side. The pedals are right to the top so it must be making contact. Where does a person start to fix the problem.

Take them apart make sure nothing is broke springs, expanders, clean them real good may very well need new disk. also the splines on the pinion shaft could be wore enought to keep the disk from moving when you step on the breaks.

Thanks I'll check that. A few years ago I had them apart and cleaned the disks and it seemed to help. but now they're right back to nothing.
