Super H Brake Issue

I have not started our Super H for two years as we do not rake with it because of the lack of hydraulics for V rake. It would not start and I just replaced rotobug and it fired on first crank...not bad for sitting that long but what do you expect from Farmall tractor! As I drove it back to house from barn I realized the left brake is not working at all. The right brake works fine. The brake operates like the other but just not stop tractor. The tractor was bought new on our farm when it was manufactured and has never left farm. This is first time we have ever had brake issue so not bad. What are possible causes for this problem and how to I repair? Thanks!

You'll have to disassemble for a good diagnosis. In my case I had brake discs worn down to the rivets on one side and the other had a failed seal that allowed trans fluid to leak into the brakes drum. Their are 3 springs and a couple bearings that may have siezed up from sitting. Pull it apart and tell us what you find.
