Farmall A sicklebar mower

hello I have going to purchase a mower for my 1945 Model A. What models did the A use. Want to get a manual for it when I restore it. THANKS

We had a IHC 27V on our super A.The 27V bolted to drawbar. I don't know exactly how you would raise the bar on an A.

The A-16 is a manual lift rear mounted mower( the one shown in your picture) for the Farmall A. Other mowers were probably adapted to it, but a cutter bar over 6' is a load for it.

I mowed a lot of heavy alfalfa with a 7' bar on my "A" in so. cntrl. Washington state in the '40s & '50s.
