There is no rear frame or hydraulic dipstick on a 560. There is a 1/2 NPT check level plug on left side of rear frame. Rear frame serves as the hydraulic reservoir.

Drill a hole in the plate.

Weld on a 1 1/2 pipe nipple. Cap it and now you have a easier fill.

Once you have filled it up to the overflow plug, get a dowell, stick, or tape measure that runs all the way to the bottom. Mark the full spot. No more crawling under to check the drain plug. A lot of times we run those over by an extra 5 gallons if the hydraulic suction pipe seal is leaking. Mark that on your dipstick as well.

Elaborate on the 5 gallons extra. Does the suction pipe sometimes leak causing cavitation unless extra oil is added to the system?
