hi all, finally got battery trouble squared away, tractor turns right over but never gets up to regular idle, and if I push in the choke it dies, adjusting the throttle does almost nothing and no matter what I do it stalls after 30 seconds to a minute at most. any suggestions of where to start looking or what to do?

Pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas out of the carb for 5 minutes. Catch the gas so you can make sure it is not full or water and rust/dirt. Poor flow there work back to find where you loose the flow at

Also, check your intake and carb bolts. Ensure they're tight and that the gasket are good.

You either have the D10 carburetor or the E12.
The D10 float setting is 1-53/64" & the E12 is 1-5/16". Hal
