574 won't shift into 1st gear

I have a 574 utility that has not had a loader on it with shifting problem. I can not shift it into 1st gear in either low, high, or reverse. This just happened over the weekend. I tried to drive it forward and backward in 2nd gear to see if I could shift it back into 1st gear, but that didn't work. I have looked at the linkages and they seem to be free of jammed material and in working order. When I try to shift it up into 1st gear, it acts like something is stuck or stopping it. However, I can shift it easily into 2-3-4 gear in low-high-reverse. I would really appreciate any thoughts or ideas about how to solve this shifting problem. Thank you!
 
I already posted to your dilemma in your previous post. Try looking there. It sounds like you need to adjust the length of your linkage some.or maybe your not getting 4th and think your not in 1st. The only adjust ment is under the guard for the lever. It comes off pretty easy just a couple of bolts under the guard front and back and one through the fender. With the guard off you will be able to shift it to find out if it is 1st or 4th you are not getting into.
