Refilled my transmission/PTO...and now I have a white milky fluid coming out around the gear shift lever. Did I put too much oil in or do I have a seal problem? What to do?

You probably overfilled it. Did you drain and refilll or just add to what was there? The white milky fluid is oil contaminated with a lot of water.

Sounds like now you better drain it and start over. In fact, pull the drain plug and let it stand for a few days. I would suggest a refill with kerosene or Diesel fuel, drive it around a while (with no load) then drain for a few days again. Then refill with proper oil. Only fill to the level plug (left side, near front). Drain and level plugs are both illustrated in the Owner's Manual.

Its possible that the oil galley from the tranny to the pto assy is plugged also as the oil slinger fills the pto and the drain is supposed to let excess drain back to the tranny.
