I have a 52 IH 221 truck head I want to put on my 301 pulling engine.the engine is lp gas.Will the valves clear?What rocker arm assembly will i need and what length push rod.

The Pulling forum might get an answer. Most internal clearance issues are checked with clay and gentle turning of assemblies with used head gaskets.
Depending on many factors beyond the ability of Net response, we can't begin to assist.
Has the head been shaved
are the valves stock length
Are the pistons domed, and how high
What is the bore
What is the rocker ratio
What cam lift and duration and etc.
Is it stroked
Answering these questions will tell you what you need to know to do some testing.
