MD split question

Getting ready to split my MD. Is there a bolt behind the starter?

No you can see the 2 bolts with 3/4 inch wrench heads near the starter area to remove on a MD.

I thought there were three bolts on an MD. Anyhow, I have to loosen my belt pulley cover to take it off bc there isn't enough room to squeeze it out.

Only two main engine mounting bolts that screw into engine block from the back of housing. Ones that are screwed out of engine block when splitting engine from housing. Main ones to front are eight frame rail bolts and two dowel pins. Starter removal not required to split.

Gotcha, I read the OP wrong. I thought he was trying to remove the starter to split the tractor. (I kind of wondered why you wouldn't just leave it attatched...)
