Trying to split my 886 & this is my first go at splitting an IH. I have the lines & misc. items unhooked. I have the 8 bolts at the frame rails out. I can get a pretty good spread at the bottom of the bell-housing, but it stays tight at the top. I have adjusted the splitting jacks and the bottle jack every which way & I have put enough pull to it to slide the whole tractor foward (rear end is blocked). What am I missing?
