Value of a BN

I recently found a basket case BN at a local salvage yard that I'm thinking of making it into my next tractor project. Had one as a kid growing up. The block it cracked. Rest of tractor is mostly complete and has pretty good tires all around. He does have a replacement motor. Any thoughts on what it might be worth with and without the extra motor.I'm thinking if I drain the oil and don't get water the block is only cracked on the outside and I may not pay for the extra motor. As a side note I know about the cost of fixing up old tractors - I already have a few that I couldn't sell and get all my money back. That's going to be my kids problem when I pass on.

Probably worth about $500. That's what I paid for an A in that condition. You can buy one running for $1000-$1200.

i agree with the 500 for the bn. i'd grab the spare motor also. if you dont, then you'll wish you did. the engine will work in an a and the c also. if you dont need the extra engine, you can always sell it. be a shame to have the scrap guy junk the extra engine.

If you take an engine from an A or B and put it in the C where do you put the hy pump
