Neeed advice for the 3 pth. We were ploughing with a 4 furrows, then it did not want to go down, it was stuck in the air. Got tractor home. It eventually seeped down but its still not functionning, raising. Lots of oil in it, I can see oil flow with top cover off.
Where do I start?

Hi Marty, not familiar with 826 but there is probably an unloading valve somewhere that has its orifice plug. On the 74 series tractors the unloading valve is a large plug under the seat with an orifice in it.
Try dead heading one of the remotes to see if this will blow the dirt out.

Hey Jim,
I tried dead heading the remote a few times without success. I did unscrew that big plug under the seat only to see a long spring come out but screwed it back before losing something.
Just got a diagram for this so I'll look at it again.
Thanks for your time Jim.

If it's an 824 it's a german IH, similar to an 844. Lots of those sold in Canada.

826 is a totally different tractor.

Yes it is an 824, not 826, German made, very similar to the 844. Is the 3 PTH similar to any British made?
