Mechnic for pre-39 Farmalls Southern Mn. or N Iowa

Does anyone know any good mechanics in Southern Minnesota or North Iowa that work on pre-1939 Farmalls? Many I talk to don't care to work on them because of the crank starts. I need someone with a fresh view and more time to look at a Regular for me.

Duanes, You still can't get her goin! I am in NY so thats no help. Contact the Nebraska Cowman mabe Howard could tell you someone out there.
 
Yep, I'll bet Cowman knows of someone. There's a guy Iowa who used to post here some, still posts alot on the Cowboard forum last time I looked at it- went by the username "Sloroll"...he lives someplace in Iowa and has some pre-39 Farmalls....I'm sure Cowman would know how to get in touch with him.
 
what do you want done to it? tune up? resto work? engine overhaul?

im not in northern iowa, but a little further south by Ames
 
Go to a local machine shop and ask them. Anyone who works on pre-39 Farmalls in your area probably has had them do wome work.
 
I am just north of Waterloo IA in NE IA. I have 20 Farmalls and work on all mine. I have a friend that is into F-20s. He is from the Rochester MN area. Between him and I, we would love to work on whatever you got. Contact me and we can work something out.
 
I'm from Lake Mills, Iowa, just south of Albert Lea, Minnesota. We have a restored 1927 Regular. Don't work on anybody else's tractors, but will be glad to discuss, and might be able to steer you in the right direction, if you are nearby.
