1568 ta problem

My buddy has a 1568 and has problems with the ta. When he is using it, it stops moving and then moves again. It doesn't slip. It does this a couple times in a row and then works fine. It doesn't matter what position the torque is in. Someone told him to reseal the mcv valve so that's what i did and it didn't help, so where should i start looking at next?

Your problem might be in the the mc pump. does the steering or hitch hydros act up at the same time?

check the valve on the back of the mcv and make sure it is set properly and not hanging up. Next get a set of gauges put on and see what your pressures are.
