have been thinking about ordering a set a service manual because i just dont like the IT manual that i already have. have narrowed it down to either ordering form case ih or binder books only small difference in price was curious which would be the better set of manual to have or are they the same
thanks

I like the IT manuals except when it says "after studying the figure it should be apparent how to disassemble". that really ticks me off cuz i have to study it and get some other peoples opinions on what it looks like they're tellin you to do. I'd go with the manual made by the people who built the tractor

The IH manuals are ok, Binder Books has digital copies, meaning the diagrams are clearer, the covers also look like the original manuals. The I&T manual is a good supplement to the IH service manuals, and use many of the same diagrams. Actually, I think I&T gives simpler instructions than IH, Adjusting the TA is an example. I use both. Both require some mechanical knowledge, since they were written for mechanics.
